Guests at Wing It! have been noticing changes at the restaurant, including paint colors and menu items. This is in conjunction with the launch of a new chicken wing concept that is planned to launch on Friday, May 24th.
The restaurant will now be known as Good Land Wing Co. and focus on chicken wings that are oven-baked rather than fried. This concept was developed by the owners of Wing It! There is also a Good Land Wing Co. location near the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
“The reason for the big change over is simple, we want to provide food that people love, like chicken wings but without the guilt of having it deep fried. We want to make eating healthier easy for anyone to do, no fitness diet or meal plan needed,” said owner Josh Brown.
Sauce flavors and heat range from mild including teriyaki, sweet bbq and garlic parmesan to sweet heat like mango habanero. Daring folks can try Good Land Wing Co.’s signature Diablo Fuego Challenge. Guests who complete the 10 wings, the 15-minute challenge will be enshrined on the restaurant’s wall of fame.
The Good Land Wing Company is located at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Maple Street in Port Washington.
Brown is excited to continue doing business in Port Washington. “We’ve been here for over 4 years and we came to a point in our travels that it was either time to expand and relocate when we rebrand or invest back into my home town and really give back to the community that helped us grow into what we are today. The answer was easy, so here we are!”
